- The Students of GEC Ajmer have been selected in “Smart India Hackathon(SIH)” at India level organized by Government of India. hackathon (also known as a hack day, hack fest or codefest) is a design sprint-like event in which computer programmers and others are involved in software development, including graphic designers, interface designers, project managers, and others, often including subject-matter-experts.
- The students of GEC Ajmer have got 2nd rank in SAE Collegiate Event organized by Manipal University. This event is based on Automobile Sketching. And GECians performed very well.
- With the coordination of Engineering College Ajmer with Ajmer Police, an android app named “Ajmer Police” has been developed. This is helping the Ajmer police for better security and traffic system.
- The students of Engineering college Ajmer have participated in The Event "Festival of education", Jaipur. Project named "Borewell resume robot.
- Students got another opportunity and cleared biggest coding contest “Codevita” organized by Tata Consultancy Services(TCS). TCS's feels strongly about promoting the culture of Programming-As-A-Sport. TCS CodeVita, a programming contest, is TCS' way of attracting young impressionable college students to adopt this culture and experience joy of programming.
- Finally, India’s biggest Technical Event 2017 at New Delhi conducted by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). Second prize winner at Vishwakarma Award among 965 Teams had participated from all over Indian Engineering Colleges and Universities with brilliant innovative Ideas and design
